Inspirational posts on social media have a way of boosting your mood temporarily so that you share those posts with your friends. And it helps to get some validation for your feelings – for a few minutes, maybe for a day if you’re lucky.

We start to realize that our old ways of coping no longer have the same impact.

Our stresses and burdens are piling up in ways we didn’t expect.

Our thoughts about how to make things better don’t seem to move us in the direction we are looking for.

Sometimes we need a little more help, a different perspective, a way back to ourselves.

This is an invitation to take care of yourself.

It’s time to give yourself the time and space that you need to see what’s really there.

We will do this in small steps, at a pace that’s right for you.

You’ll see that when emotional suffering is met with love and compassion, it won’t survive. It can’t. And this is how we change.

You can learn to let your feelings move through you without dragging you down.
